  • 2 cups rolled oats

  • 1 cup flour

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • ½ tsp baking soda

  • ½ cup melted butter

  • 1½ cups diced apples

  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup

  • 1 egg


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking dish with parchment.

  2. Mix oats, flour, sugar, cinnamon, and baking soda.

  3. Stir in melted butter, egg, honey, and apples.

  4. Press mixture into the pan.

  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden and firm.

  6. Cool, slice into bars, and enjoy!
