Blackstone Griddle Hibachi Chicken – A Flavorful Japanese-Inspired Feast at Home

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (plus more as needed)

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp minced garlic

  • 1 tbsp teriyaki sauce (optional)

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

  • 2 cups cooked fried rice (for serving)

  • Yum Yum sauce (for serving)

  • Sliced green onions & sesame seeds (for garnish)


Instructions

  • Preheat your Blackstone griddle (or large skillet) to medium-high heat.

  • Drizzle vegetable oil over the cooking surface. Add chicken pieces and spread out evenly.

  • Season with soy sauce, pepper, and sesame oil. Cook 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until chicken is browned.

  • Add garlic, butter, and teriyaki sauce (if using). Toss to coat and cook until chicken is fully cooked and juicy.

  • Remove from heat and serve over fried rice.

 

  • Drizzle with Yum Yum sauce, sprinkle with green onions & sesame seeds, and enjoy restaurant-style hibachi at home!
