2 large chicken breasts, halved lengthwise (4 thin cutlets)

1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp dried oregano

1/2 tsp paprika

Salt & pepper, to taste

1 large egg, beaten

1 cup marinara sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Fresh basil, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a shallow bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Dip chicken cutlets into beaten egg, then coat evenly in breadcrumb mixture.

Place on prepared baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.

Spoon marinara sauce over each cutlet, sprinkle with mozzarella, and bake for an additional 3–4 minutes until cheese melts.
