Ingredients
For the Brownie Layer:

1/2 cup butter (melted)

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

2 eggs

1/3 cup cocoa powder

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup chocolate chips
For the Cookie Layer:

1/2 cup butter (softened)

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup sugar
-
1 egg
-
1 cup flour

1/2 tsp baking soda
-
1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8 pan.

Make brownie batter: Mix melted butter with sugars, eggs, cocoa, flour, and salt. Stir in chocolate chips.

Spread brownie layer evenly in pan.

Make cookie dough: Cream butter and sugars, add egg, mix in flour, baking soda, salt, and chocolate chips.

Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough on top of brownie layer. Gently spread or swirl.

Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with fudgy crumbs.

Cool, slice, and devour!
