Honey Garlic Chicken – The Ultimate Flavor-Packed Recipe for Any Occasion

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or rice vinegar)

  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Salt & pepper, to taste


Instructions

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (165°F / 74°C). Remove and set aside.

  • In the same skillet, add honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.

  • Return chicken to skillet, coating well in sauce.

  • Cook for 2–3 more minutes until glazed and sticky.

 

  • Serve with rice or steamed veggies.
