Ingredients
For the Lemon Brownies:

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled

For the Lemon Glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar

2–3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Prep the Oven

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
Step 2: Make the Lemon Brownie Batter

In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt.

In another bowl, whisk eggs, melted butter, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla until smooth.

Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring just until no streaks of flour remain (do not overmix).
Step 3: Bake

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.

Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the center is set and edges are lightly golden.

Let cool completely in the pan before glazing.
Step 4: Prepare the Glaze

In a small bowl, whisk powdered sugar with lemon juice until smooth and pourable.

Spread over cooled lemon brownies.

Garnish with extra zest if desired.
