Oatmeal Apple Breakfast Bake Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups old-fashioned oats

  • 1 1/2 cups milk (dairy or almond)

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 2 apples, peeled and diced

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

  • 1/4 cup raisins or dried cranberries (optional)


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.

  • In a bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, maple syrup, brown sugar, and vanilla.

  • Stir in oats, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, apples, nuts, and raisins.

  • Pour mixture into prepared baking dish and spread evenly.

  • Bake for 35–40 minutes, until set and golden on top.

 

  • Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with a drizzle of maple syrup or a dollop of yogurt!
