Teriyaki Ground Turkey Bowl Recipe: Easy, Flavorful, and Perfect for Weeknight Dinners

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey

  • 1 tbsp oil (olive or sesame)

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (slurry)

  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger

  • Cooked rice (for serving)

  • Steamed broccoli or mixed veggies

  • Optional: sesame seeds & green onions for topping


Instructions

  • Cook turkey: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and turkey. Cook until browned and fully cooked.

  • Make sauce: In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, vinegar, ginger, and slurry (cornstarch + water).

  • Combine: Pour sauce over turkey. Simmer 2–3 minutes until thickened.

  • Assemble bowl: Add rice, top with teriyaki turkey and veggies.

 

  • Garnish: Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
