Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning or a mix of oregano, basil, thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, garlic, Dijon mustard, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Place the chicken in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  3. Seal the bag (or cover the dish) and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, ideally 2–4 hours. For maximum flavor, marinate overnight.
  4. When ready to cook, remove chicken from marinade and discard the excess.
  5. Grill, bake, or pan-sear the chicken until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
