Bang Bang Fried Rice: A Flavor-Packed Delight

Bang Bang Fried Rice made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables carrots, peas, bell peppers
  • 3 green onions sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 egg beaten

Method
 

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Incorporate the mixed vegetables and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Push the vegetable mixture to one side of the pan and pour the beaten egg into the other side.
  5. Add the cooked rice, soy sauce, and sriracha to the skillet, stirring well.
  6. Fold in the sliced green onions and remove from heat.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, then serve warm.
