Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb chicken thighs boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 inch ginger grated
  • 1 can 15 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Method
 

  1. Marinate the chicken in yogurt and spices for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat and sauté onions until golden brown.
  3. Add ginger and garlic; cook until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the marinated chicken, cooking until no longer pink.
  5. Add crushed tomatoes, garam masala, cumin, turmeric, and chili powder; simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and reduce heat. Cook for another 10 minutes.
  7. Season with salt and garnish with cilantro before serving.
