Delicious and Festive New Year’s Eve Snacks

New Year’s Eve Snacks made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cooked crab meat
  • 1/4 cup green onions chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package of mini phyllo pastry cups
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
  3. Stir in cooked crab meat, green onions, cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and hot sauce to the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Carefully spoon the mixture into mini phyllo pastry cups.
  5. Bake the filled cups for 15-20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow cooling for about 5 minutes.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
