Delicious Chicken Pillows with Creamy Garlic Sauce

Chicken Pillows with Garlic Parmesan Sauce made approachable with clear cues, pantry staples, and flexible swaps.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup crescent roll dough
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Roll out the crescent roll dough on a lightly floured surface, separating it into triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture on the wider end of each triangle and roll it up tightly.
  5. Pinch the seams to seal the edges firmly and place them seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. While the Chicken Pillows bake, prepare the garlic Parmesan sauce by combining sour cream, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese in a saucepan over medium heat.
  8. Add garlic and season with salt and pepper. Stir well until heated through and slightly thickened.
  9. Remove the Chicken Pillows from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving with the sauce.
