Prepare the meatballs: In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
Form the mixture into meatballs about the size of a golf ball, and place them on a plate.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and brown on all sides, about 6-8 minutes.
Remove the meatballs from the pan and set aside. In the same pan, add marinara sauce and bring to a simmer.
Add the spaghetti to the simmering sauce. Make sure it’s submerged and stir occasionally.
Return the meatballs to the skillet, nestling them among the spaghetti. Cover and cook for an additional 10-12 minutes, until pasta is al dente.
Once done, check the seasoning of the sauce—adjust with salt or pepper if needed.
