Ingredients
  

  • 4 chicken thighs bone-in and skin-on
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the marinade by combining honey, soy sauce, black pepper, cayenne pepper, minced garlic, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, coating them thoroughly.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Sear the chicken thighs skin-side down for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Flip the chicken and sear for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  7. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish, pouring the remaining marinade over the top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  9. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  10. Serve warm with your choice of sides.
