Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted (for brushing)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  3. In another bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, diced strawberries, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  6. Spread the cheesecake filling evenly across the dough.
  7. Roll the dough tightly from one end to the other.
  8. Cut the rolled dough into 1-inch segments.
  9. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush with melted butter, and apply egg wash.
