  • 1 pound ground pork or turkey
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 3 green onions sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground pork or turkey to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks.
  4. Stir in the shredded cabbage and carrots, mixing well with the meat.
  5. Pour in soy sauce and rice vinegar, stirring to combine.
  6. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender and the flavors meld together.
