Heavenly Creamy Chicken Pillows for Home Cooks

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup green onions chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 package of crescent roll dough 8 oz
  • 1/2 cup butter melted

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, shredded cheese, green onions, garlic powder, and salt.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface and separate it into triangles.
  4. Spoon a generous amount of the chicken filling onto the wider end of each triangle.
  5. Roll the dough starting from the wide end towards the point, enclosing the filling completely.
  6. Place the filled pillows on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the tops with melted butter for an added layer of flavor and richness.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
