- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Combine shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt in a mixing bowl.
- Scoop the mixture onto a lined baking sheet, forming small mounds.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove the macaroons from the oven and let them cool completely on the baking sheet.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler.
- Dip the bottoms of the macaroons into the melted chocolate or drizzle it on top.
- Allow the chocolate to set before serving.
