Ingredients
  

  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup milk

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the banana filling by slicing bananas and mixing them with sugar, vanilla, and lemon juice.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and mix well.
  4. In another bowl, mix melted butter and milk, then combine with dry ingredients to form a batter.

  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
  7. Serve warm, optionally with ice cream or whipped cream.
